I am a Graphic Designer based in Edinburgh with over 20 years industry experience in branding, web design, digital solutions, print and typography. I work ‘hands-on’ to produce the best creative solutions for clients.
WORK HISTORY /
SAAS – Graphic Design Specialist
Communications and Digital Marketing designer for (SAAS) an executive agency of the Scottish Government. Creative lead on projects promoting SAAS & Scottish Government messages across all channels, from social media adverts and email newsletters to interactive content, web and print.
VIZIBILITY – Head of Graphic Design
Founding member of the company Vizibility. Responsible for all aspects of creative design, quality assurance and studio management. Also responsible for management of client brands and guidelines across websites, digital marketing and printed materials. Clients ranged from global brands such as Bowmore Distillers and Famous Grouse to small Local boutique hotels.
SIMPSON LAWRENCE – Senior Designer
I set-up an in-house graphic design department for a worldwide marine equipment company from scratch. Work included design of annual reports, sales brochures, press adverts, a 400 page plus product catalogue and updating the company website. Responsible for all aspects of design for brands within the UK, Europe and the USA.
MARKETING ADVANTAGE – Freelance Designer
Freelance designer (3 month contract) producing work for blue-chip clients, including: Standard Life, Royal Bank of Scotland and Keyline Builders Merchants.
VISIBLE MEANS – Graphic Designer
Designed work for a wide variety of clients including Dunfermline Building Society and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Projects, included logo design, direct mail, brochures, press advertising.
JACK GOLD ADVERTISING – Junior Designer
Working alongside the design director – I was in charge of all phases of jobs – from creative concepts to artworking projects for print. Mainly corporate identity work for medium sized businesses.

In my free time I cycle for pleasure. I have competed in track cycling on the velodrome boards, at National, European and World Level gaining twenty medals.
